We've put together a list of places that are walkable from our house! Austin is home to some incredibly unique and worthwhile attractions, so don't just stop here, but we wanted to give you some ideas for exploring the neighborhood. Enjoy!
Terry Black's Barbeque
This is one of the quintessential BBQ joints in Austin. I've tried just about every spot you've ever heard of, here. Most do one or two things great, but Terry Black's is the one spot that does everything well.

Insider's Secret: You can order Carry-Out from them any time and it's ready in about 45 minutes. Skip the crazy Texas BBQ lines and walk straight in to the counter for this one. You won't regret it.

Alamo Drafthouse
Alamo Drafthouse is a movie theater, but so much more. They take movies seriously (but not too seriously). Alamo curates an unbelievable list of priceless movies, as well as the latest releases. You can order from their extensive food and drink menu while you're enjoying the film (yes, they have booze). They're constantly having Movie Parties and special events, including guest appearances, too. It's truly a movie mecca.

Insider's Secret: You can take your seat 30 minutes before the film starts. Get there early to get a food order in or to check out Highball, which is their adjacent full-service bar. With some of the best and cheapest cocktails in town, it's one of my top hidden gems in Austin. Oh, and don't forget the popcorn.
